Are Nemiton's NEMT resources free?
Yes. Every calculator, checklist, worksheet, template and tracker in this library is free. Downloadable files ask for a name and email; the browser-based tools require nothing at all.
Why does the state rate planner not include Medicaid rates?
Because there is no single Medicaid NEMT rate to include. Reimbursement varies by state, managed-care plan, broker, region, service level, modifiers and contract, so any figure presented as a statewide rate is a snapshot of one contract. The planner asks you to enter a rate from an official fee schedule or signed contract and to record the source and the date you verified it.
What formats are the NEMT resources provided in?
Checklists and templates come as PDF and editable DOCX. Calculators and scorecards come as Excel workbooks. Several also have a browser version that calculates without any download.
Can these resources be used in any state?
The operating principles apply broadly, but requirements, rates and payer terms differ by state, county, broker and contract. Treat each resource as a planning framework and verify specifics with the responsible agency, broker or insurer before making a decision.
