Check any platform against this, regardless of fleet size:

Does it handle mobility-type-aware routing (ambulatory, wheelchair, stretcher), not just generic stop order?
Does it integrate with your Medicaid brokers for trip intake and billing, or will you still re-key trips by hand?
Are NEMT-specific compliance items built in: signature capture, trip-level documentation, mobility tracking?
Is pricing published, or will you only get a number after a demo call? Budget for negotiation either way.
What is the realistic onboarding timeline? Plan a parallel-run period — do not cut over cold.
